At Emmaus, our nursery provides a safe and caring environment where little ones can play, learn, and feel loved while parents participate fully in worship.
Nursery is available during the Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:30 am for children under the age of 4.
Our Commitment to Safety
- Screened & background-checked volunteers
- Two adult volunteers present at all times
- Children only released to adults with matching parent security label
- Visible diaper changing area; bathroom help only with your permission
- Clear illness policy to keep everyone healthy
- Incident reporting for transparency
What to Expect
When you arrive, a Check-in Nursery Volunteer will greet you and your child outside the nursery. We’ll help you check in securely with a unique label for both your child and yourself, which you’ll use at pick-up. The volunteer will gently guide your child into the nursery to help them feel comfortable and settled.
To help your child build trust and confidence, parents are asked not to stay in the nursery. We provide snacks (like Goldfish and puffs) and diaper-changing supplies, so all you need to bring is your child and an optional water bottle. If your child becomes very upset and can’t be comforted, we’ll come get you or send a quick text.
